As of May 1st, only campfires are permitted within the village boundaries. Category 2, 3 & 4 open fires are not permitted. Open fires cannot be larger than 0.5m wide x 0.5m high.
If you live outside the village boundaries Category 2 & 3 open fires are still permitted. But with the unseasonably warm and dry conditions, be very careful with outdoor fires. Use alternatives to burning if you can, such as hauling away material or chipping. If you do burn, keep water and tools on hand to put out the fire. And never leave a fire unattended.
